For a young player this can be hard to come back from. anyway back to our potential signings, I personally wouldn't be too disappointed if its not a 'marquee' signing , lets face it most of these end up being hyped up so much they can only ever be a let down. I'd much rather have a good player who is a 'right fit' into our team then sign a Lockyer type and have to reshuffle our team around him.
As was said we need a hooker, and as far as I'm concerned Scotty Murrell is not a Hooker and is far to good at Loose to warrant a move, so I would hope for a decent hooker to come in and fill the role.
dont know how you can say that to be fair....... pretty sure there were a hell of alot of KR not happy with Lovegrove and saying he shouldnt be kept... now look at him.

He played 56 SL games for Hull, some of those would have been starting, so overstating it to say he never got the chance at Hull. As Sheldon said, just more clueless selection playing him off the bench in the hope of making him an impact prop.
Good to see Wheeldon get plenty of gametime, but Morgan's options have been limited by Aizue's mysterious non-selection, Fozzard's form dropping off and Mills being of reserve standard only.

I agree there were a few on Lovegroves back but I don;t believe Lovegrove was ever hyped up as high or dropped as low to the extent of a Tommy Lee.
To be fair there were a fair few people on Morgans back last year so I'll give you we have some fans as bad as each other. Maybe we've been shielded from it by perfoming well.

Now this really is what you call a Rizzla argument!
To paraphrase, what you appear to be saying is that Morgan's options have been limited by his own decisions.
Aizue- not selected. Coaches prerogative, he doesn't need a reason, it's his job to pick the team.
Fozzard- drop in form. Any chance of you naming a player that's ripped it up for 27 rounds, the CC and through the play offs in every single game? I'll make it easy for you, you can pick from any season from 1895 to present day.
Mills- reserve standard only. I'll grant you with hind sight it was certainly a mistake to give Mills an extension, but again, it's the coaches job to reassess players and pick the team. If we'd suffered injuries at the same time to Vella, Fozzard, Wheeldon, Lovegrove and Aizue then he'd have all of a sudden become a very valuable squad player.
Just to be clear, putting a wink at the end of your post is not a licence for said post to contain an absolute load of old tut.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

hull fans laugh at the reported 50k a year but i think hes worth it, not saying hes getting it, considering we kept king and thackray (on surely bigger deals) and signed maloney.

So,
Ins Cook Top quality signing 1 Top quality signing 2
Out Fitzhenry Gene Aizue Esders I'Anson?
