just on the electronic turnstyles thing, I read somewhere a while ago that all clubs had to move to these as a ground safety requirement, and I might be proved wrong on this but I believe it was one of the few lesser points on ground facilities that was included on franchise bids (that didn't grab many headlines).

They don't have to be be fully automated like at headingley but they do have to be electronic and capable of accurately recording crowd figures.

This question has been raised before and my understanding is that during the last off season work was concentrated on services such as electricity and sewerage in preparation for the coming off season when the East stand will be extended South and the Golf stand will be moved to the South end of the pitch.

This then clears the North area for work to the North stand development, the current situation with, I have no idea, but if the above is correct work would presumeably not start on the new North stand until after the 2010 season has ended.

Just one point on the electronic turnstyle system. Whats to stop an adult buying a junior pass and using it themselves?

This is a small point regarding the stadium, but as we bought the golf stand(95 % sure we did ) Can we please those god awful green seats red!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a note on the electronic turnstyles; I read that they will cost £90,000.

Based on the entry price of £20 if it adds an extra 346 fans per game for one full season (by charging those who have previously not been paying) then the turnstyles break even. Plus the other future benefits.

So, we need to spend 90K because we currently employ people who are incompetant or bent?

I could think of 100 things better to spend 90K on, and then a spot of staff training &/or on-the-spot sackings would sort out the problem.
