Stevo's use isn't correct, there is no "momentum rule" applied to judge forward passes in Rugby Leaugue terms. There is "Newton's 2nd law of Motion" that has to be applied to forward passes, otherwise any passes made at speed would be judged as forward.
As I (and others) have said, it's purely the initial movement of the ball (forward or backward) that counts.

Sorry to rain on your parade but it was a forward pass from Dobson. Although the main stand didn't bother pointing it out to the ref unlike other passes

Sorry to rain on yours, but it wasn't, I have checked the results on Sky, CEEFAX, Hull Daily Mail and the Rovers website and they all have Webster scoring, therefore it wasn't a forward pass.

yes it was!! the officials just didnt give it as a foward pass. it happens all the time in rugby league. just like all teams time waste for the drop out restart we all see it week in week out but because the ref dosent give a pen doesnt mean it isnt time waisting.
you can admit it that the ball went foward?? the rfl wont take the try back.
it is possible to discuss the game with an open mind ya know?

And Bridge scored too, so neither of the passes leading up to it were forward either
FWIW, I thought Webster's try was superb. Wonderful flowing move everything that Rovers have been this year and everything we haven't.

The ball went forward because of momentum, but it wasn't PASSED forward. What's so hard to understand? Or did you not bother with maths at school?

whooooooosh?????? i think you need to stop having such a blinkered view pal. im a neutral, i didnt care who won. i just saw it as it was. the pass was forward the ref didnt give it. we all see things the refs miss. because the refs dont see it or give it doesnt mean it didnt happen.
