Just to clarify the comment above to the brain dead monochrome muppets who spend more time on this forum than their own, the 'Club of the year' & 'Playing surface' awards were voted the best in Super League by independent bodies which makes the awards even sweeter - Rovers were awarded for their hard work throughout the year - How many times have the 'dark side' won them after being in the top flight since (so the trolls say,...) 1422  ) Err.... Why would they disagree? every club in sport, when getting to a competition final wants to win it, not least because of the greater financial rewards for the winners.( i'm sure the clubs administrators would aggree with that)
success in finals also gives a club a higher profile worlwide because of the media coverage, Hull city are a prime example, they went to Wembley last year and won, everyone will remember it was Hull city in the final because they were victorious and won it, but how many people in years to come will remember who the other finalists were, i've forgotton already.
Like i said people rarely remember the losers in finals . |
