Our starting line up only had 3 players who will start (plus Hadley)
A maximum of 5 on those who played today will be in the 17, Rovers had about 10 who will make the 17. Also our first game, unlike Rovers, I honed thought you win by more looking at the respective squads.
It was a good hit out and game and I think both coaches will be pleased.
Hopefully the injuries to the Rovers players aren't two bad.
So you were missing 12 and us only 'about" 7? That explains it then
A game i thought we'd win and by about that amount. Sounds like Addy could be long one the others will be ok to start the season. Good hit out nothing more.
one of the better friendlies ive been to, plenty for both coaches to take from it, imo you have a good team spirit and cert got stuck in, plus you have players to come in, for us lets be honest apart from 3 it was the a team, still I enjoyed it, hope addy isn't to bad

Sounded like a decent game overall from the radio commentary. Even losing a couple to injury, I think we probably should have won by a slightly bigger margin 'on paper', but it was well within tolerances and credit to Hull's youngsters and fringe players. ATEOTD, although it'd have been a tiny bit worrying to lose to that Hull team, the result isn't of massive importantance. Fingers crossed for Addy.

Both sides had similar numbers of senior players missing. We perhaps had more if you factor in the couple of expected new signings plus losing Tommy Lee after a minute.
Clearly the quality of Hulls missing players was higher. That's why they are a top 4 team currently and we are a newly promoted team. Good Friday will potentially be a long afternoon for us Robins.
What yesterday did show us is, in my opinion, is that we have the higher quality youngsters in our squad. Are they ready for Super League? Time will tell.

I think you can say that about both sides, which is only good for the game.

I do hope the authorities are ready for the start of the season. To have that many people milling around West Park 15 minutes before the end of games must be a security issue.
Just a thought, but do hull do part match tickets ?
