Bittersweet but not remotely discouraging.

They gave it a good crack and scored a great try.

Hull are a good team, fair play to ‘em.

Gutted not to have won as felt we had more and better chances but very proud of the performance. Sometimes in life you can give your all and still lose. The lack of real class half back was evident and hooker also but they gave what they had ..

I thought you played well, but what chances did you create, apart from the trys I cant remember thinking you looked like scoring or a clean break that you made.

Saying that with Abdul, Parcell and Garbutt to come back you will be ok big concern has to be the number of injuries Parcell, Garbutt and Quinlan get though.

Had Quinlan stayed on we win. Minchella killed us at hooker when he came on same as last week. Rovers take a lot more positives from that match than FC do with their settled squad but this will be lost on most of your lot.

Leeds next and good chance of 2 points with Parcell returning hopefully.

Encouraging performance from our lads against the self- elected double winners. When an extra 5000 home fans turn up once a year, you can soon spot who considers it a cup final.

Our objectives for this year are well known and are well on track.

You take your positives and we'll take the 2 points.

Care to show us these fans claiming we will win the double?

Cup final, where hot ones celebrating defeat and giving ourselfs a pat on the back for running our neighbours close. Whilst most fans I spoke to ar happy with the points but disappointed with the performance

Let's see if you can play with the same spirit and intensity in the next few games

I don't its anyone's cup final to be fair, just two points and some bragging rights

Poor coaching by Smith then.

Settled squad we are a new team with a few out aswell?

We were always going to come strong in the last 20, Radford brought the big men on at the right time, doubt Quilan would have made much difference.

Still can't see how Rovers can take more positives, probably both coaches will be happy, but that's the difference in the two clubs ambitions.

Right now, absolutely. Our priorities and goals are different and so we’re judging by different standards.

Tbh, i’m not exactly clear on the balance of Rovers priorities. For now the prospect of finding out more remains interesting. We should start to get a clearer idea over the next 4 or 6 weeks, I reckon.
