No thanks, that is one team I'd rather play at home. Same with Leeds.
Fair enough .
Just out of interest why would we be the first club to play Toronto away? Last year we were in their position (top of championship) and we played the 10th placed SL team (Catalans) in week 6.
Personally I would rather play the (on paper) easiest teams at home . That would give a great chance of 8 points and only one away win needed. If we finish 9th and play Leeds at home (week 2 if the same as 2017) and lose, the jitters would really start and it all gets so difficult. Lose to them away and indeed Toronto away and we'd still get 5 wins beating Featherstone away and home games against Salford, Widnes, Toulouse and London. (obviously the championship teams could change). I actually prefer the fixtures for the 10th club as things stand
And BTW in round 22 if we lose to Warrington and Leeds beat Widnes at home our league position will indeed be sorted before the final weekend provided Salford lose in France. We'd be 10th no matter what with those results.
I'm sure ATEOTD neither of us will care how we stay up provided we do.
