That was pathetic, sheens was good coach, bobby charlton was a good footballer,as was geoff hurst but sadly they are past it.The games moved on,the drop off inside pass isnt working, lee at off half aint working, why do we put dagger(somebody with a bit of pace) against wigan win,and then change back to lee at off half, who couldnt make a break with no opposition. Sheens, atkins is a scrum half, lee is a hooker, can you take that on board.

Weird result really after your great win over Wigan last week. Thought it would be a really close game. Good luck for the rest of the season if you can get some consistency you could still make the 8's.

with all due respect to blair , whom I think is a good egg.he was finished in the backs when we signed him.always thought he would make a more than useful loose man unfortunately bad recruitment meant we have never played him there because he is steady which ever position he has played except half back with a donkey along side him

I'm saying put Blair there as we haven't much choice at the moment I'd rather see him in the pack but needs must

First 20 mins of no effort in defence lost us that game.
Apart from that, journeyman Lee offers nothing in any position either in defence or attack. Salter was complete outclassed. Moss, for all his efforts, is just way too small. Walne is rubbish. Bobby tried too hard. Vaivai went missing (probably having to help Moss too much). Quinlans kick off was just unacceptable. There's a reason Smith has been loaned out by Saints.
The only players worth anything tonight were Atkin (no surprise) and Greenwood.
We are badly missing Lunt, Carney, Heff and Mulhearn and Lawler.
Cas were always going to bounce back but its the manner of our disinterested defence that disheartens me. Roll on July and Lunt's return.

At least you got your wish and Moss played

that's how I saw it bud spot on imo. the young saints hooker is miles away and 5 or 6 years of salter is enough

We have let better prospects of our own go and bringing in the Saints kid isn't good for team morale.Stilll feel Moss has plenty to offer but is a luxury in a pop gun team. Weak willed weak bodied.Yes Cas played fast and hard but so did we last week .The range between our good performance and poor ones is far too wide

I'm not against bringing in a loan hooker I don't believe it damages morale it's just this kid brings nothing and for all the cries for Moss to play well he did and he did nothing too lightweight for me

I didnt expect us to get the win last night but i did expect us to be competetive though, the first 20 minutes was probably the most inept ive seen for a while, no effort, energy or passion. It just shows how poor Wigan must have been last week. Sheens talking about the changes he had to make on the edges doesnt cut it with me either, Carney yes but Wallis and Dagger were his choice, saying that we could have played the 1st choice Aussie backs behind that pathetic pack and still got dry bummed.
