Well you may throw your rock and hide your hand Workin' in the dark against your fellow man But as sure as God made black and white What's down in the dark will be brought to the light
I've no problem with fans celebrating even on the field with their players if our stewards can't contain them, provided they don't damage the pitch or the stadium. I've no problem with fans drinking excessively, chanting loudly and occasionally abusively. After all this was a Hull derby, such occurrences are usual and it inflames emotions in us at the best of times. With so much riding on the result as well as bragging rights, it's inevitable that the win was extra special to the winning team and their supporters.
What I do have a problem with is immature tit for tat, my dick is bigger than your dick, moral high ground responses between my erstwhile fellow posters and beloved rugby league fans. In a perfect world, pitch invasions would be the sole domain of that sub-species that support football as their sport of choice, but the Hull derby is unique in our sport.
The best team won, Hull fans were justified in celebrating. A polite request. Please let's all move on to our next respective challenges, as I'm sick enough about the result and our recent team performances without having to wallow in this shizzle. Sermon over.

Imagine the outcry if we stormed the Kc pitch when we won the first Derby. Fellow KR fans sweeping this under the carpet is unacceptable. It's laughable that Fc fans are agreeing with Pickering Red. No wonder! Shameful act from Fc players starting this act then Fc fans following like sheep onto our pitch that could of caused a big problem for our sport and profile. Well done most Rovers fans for not biting and following onto the pitch. Oh, and by the way, one stupid fan starting a flare is not the same as the hundreds of kn0bs enticing trouble on our pitch. Get real some of you!

I disagree, it's not ok. Why is it ok to pile on your rivals pitch after a win? I don't recall any similar behaviour at the KC from our fans after the survival of 2007 or Play Off win in 2010, both were significantly more worthy of a "celebration" than yesterday.
The players incited it, the fans responded and if it had kicked off we would have copped another fine on behalf of them just like last time.
