Who supplies these stats? Defence needs a lot of work admittedly but 7 in the top 20 missed tackles? Widnes have 2 of the top 20, Cas 0, Salford 1 & Bradford 2, all have let in more points than we have...& 8 assists for Dobson? Was that just vs Huddersfield? I'd read these with a large pinch of salt.

Im not looking to blame anyone, collectively our defence is poor i was just commenting on what you said. I rate Lovegrove and we should be looking to offer him a new deal sharpish! And im not getting into the Welham debate

Prior to the arrival of Sandercock, our defence was poor, albeit in a different sense. Our lads are now learning new structures and added to that there are players missing that'll have been worked into the structures in pre-season, this hinders training somewhat in the sense that numbers are lower and it's much harder to try out routines and structures without the correct numbers at training. Given time I'm sure Sandy'll have the lads doing what he wants and we'll all have to be patient and wait for the tree bearing fruit.

Defensive structures are a million times better then last season as we aren't seeing the massive gaps on the fringes. The problem is missed tackles with teams just rolling over us.
