Please remember the KC is simply a facility you hire 13 times a year. If someone else wants to hire it on a date when it is available then Hull FC have no say in the matter.

I'm not really that bothered tbh. The only thing that will bother me is if I have to make an extra trip to CP or rerd to exchange my card thing for a ticket thing.
I'd say Rovers should negotiate that we'd have the East/South/West facilities, but half expect we'll be in the North/West Upper as per an away fixture.

Thick Nobness knows perfectly well that there are three bodies based at the KC that have an influence over it's usage. The two tenants, FC and City, and the management company, the SMC.
The fact that two of these bodies are owned by the same man does not affect the ability of the third to either kibosh plans for an extraordinary event or alternatively ensure they receive maximum advantage from the arrangement. Why would we agree to it going ahead otherwise?

The RFL have got no reason to block it. I can see no especial reason for Hull FC or Hull City to block a one-off game. A permanent move would raise issues around maintaining the pitch, but not this. Pearson might use it as a bargaining chip in his effort to get a better rent deal, might even get a cut of the gate above a certain number, who knows? Saying no (and we don't know that the veto applies to one-off events) gains him nowt tangible. Patronising faux-magnanimity is the best you can hope for, IMO.
