Which first choice hookers do you think are worse than him? What does him being an Aussie have to do with it?

He's been training at my gym for the last few weeks,a real nice guy and im pleased to see he's found himself a club. Always thought he was one of your best players and was suprised when you released him.

There's a difference between being a 'great player' and 'being able to hack it'.
Thanks for pointing that out bud.

It's no exaggeration to say that Ben Fisher was probably the most influential player in the Championship when Rovers got promoted.
Not the best Super League hooker by a long way, but certainly never looked out of place either.
As has already been said, he is likeable guy and a tremendous clubman too who is guaranteed to give 100 per cent commitment and still has a lot of rugby left in him.
From where I am sitting, he is the best signing made by a championship club for next season.

always solid rarely spectacular in sl, the slower pace in nl will make him a big asset, good servant to the club and never let us down but i honestly had been saying for a year or 2 we needed to improve in that area to improve on the whole. Only time will tell if our new recruits and Josh will lift us.

I'm pleased he's got fixed up but would undoubtedly still be in SL if he were fed trained. He looked every inch SL standard while he tore Hull a new one on his way to try line in the play off stroll last year. All the best Fish, Batley will go well next year with Kear, Fish & Ben Black.

You are not surprised no SL players came in where??? Or is it just your usual bull poop?

There's a difference between being a 'great player' and 'being able to hack it'. It's clear that he's not a great player, if he was he'd be snapped up by a SL club.
Cough....Tony Martin.........Cough
