We won't get away with some of todays stuff against Saints, but if we play in the same way ie throwing it around, cut out passes etc, we will score points. The way to win is then defend like trojans when Saints have the ball.
We can do it, only if we give the ball as much air as we did today, it was like watching Rovers of old.

There was a lot of back patting enthusiasm today I ant seen in a while thought 1 to 17 played great I am proud of them we really do play better in the sun

Just to put this in perspective, we put 50 points past them last week and Richard Whiting went the length of the field for a try. You have to go back 5 years to find the last side we scored 50 points against.
Wakey really are dire.

Indeed Kosh but the other perspective is that we have been just as rubbish ourselves at times. So sticking 70 on somebody (Should have been 80 is Dobson had been wearing his normal boots!) is certainly going the the right direction. I hope to goodness that yesterday was a sigh that JM has finally decided to go away from the negative tactics and will actually allow us to play with a bit of freedom.

lets get real this team are Edit-Any chance you can find a word that is actually nice on the eye?-RW any team that played them yesterday would have won if it had been warrie or wigan it would have been 100 plus lets not forget we are still pants and we need a new coach and new players for nexst season this is only papering over the cracks

Do we actually need a new coach and a load of new players? I feel the team needed reinvigorating and our poor run this season has done that (hopefully(. I'm sure we'll see some new players come in but does it need to be many. Speaking to an ex Rovers player on Saturday Morgan is tactically the best coach he's played under the flaws he has surround other issues. The same player said that although Kear is a great motivator he isn't a patch on Morgan's tactical knowledge & ability. With this in mind we need to assess what's gone wrong this season and prevent it happening again.

I'm not trying to imply that it wasn't a good win or that the players shouldn't take any credit or confidence away from it - you can only play what's in front of you after all. Just a slight word of caution that thrashing Wakey at the moment isn't that difficult and not to read too much into it like Roofs appears to be doing.

I personally think if you play well you can beat saints, they were very ordinary on friday but unfortunately we had an off day probably due to the fact wen can never play without a 7 but they certainly weren't the dangerous side we're all used to.
