Rovers havnt got anthing to lose by looking at the kid. In the limited times i saw him play i recall him being very good going forward and very poor going backwards.
Worst case scenario we let him go after taking a look. Best case scenario he impresses everybody and earns a deal. He obviously doesnt have a load of clubs after him so he should be hungry.
One thing is for certain, it will put our current wingers on their toes because it clearly shows that Justin is looking for a winger.

Out of interest would people take him if he has genuine pace, assuming he has, and accept a degree of defensive frailty. Or as the game is now do we want/need solid before spectacular?

I think Rovers may well be in need of a new winger, but i see no mileage in giving trials to someone who was a failure in both codes.

He has been away for a fair while so as far as RL is concerned you just never know.
Rovers will suck it and see (OT I cant belive that album title has been banned in the US) and if he is a failure he is a failure.

Why don't they send him to Workington on loan?

I dont have a problem with it. After a month both parties can walk away if it doesnt work out and nobody is out of pocket.

I will be going to watch Workington at Rochdale next month. If they have a decent winger ill give him a lift to Craven Park.
