he wont be sponsoring KR or FC, he has no intrest in rugby, his words, he is just chasing the football dream, (and buying the KC, so he can then borrow money of the strength of it) and personally i wouldnt want him anywhere near FC, and that interview he did for RH, he came across as a bit of a fool!
well as much as it pains me to say , i would actually welcome his business acumen, you don`t make 100`s of millions by being foolish. And if he can give some pointers as to whats gone wrong in the business model at rovers and it improves us, surely it cannot be a bad thing.

Nor me at KR, but I would also argue that you don't get to where he is by being a fool, he is cleverly using the media to get what he wants. Your biggest problem will come if he goes for anywhere but the KC. If he gets the KC he will probably want you out, but given the size of your lease he would have to provide alternative accommodation for you.

Not a fool in business, just in general his son is taking over the reigns at the allam helm hes the one with all the ideas, but, can you seriously see them getting the KC? if he doesnt, can you (again) see him funding the site at Melton? not a chance of that one happening, and if he did get to buy the KC, then i would rather he compensates FC, and us to build our own stadium, (priory park maybe) along the lines of Wires/Leigh, or even donnys ground, than stay at the KC! Just cant see any of it happening!

Sport is littered with great businessmen who have made a complete mess of sporting clubs. The way you run a manufacturing business is completely removed from how you run a sports club.
