Lets be right , Dobson is fairly and squarely behind Leuluai , Sammut perhaps not but Leuluai operates at an entirely higher level, nobody could seriously suggest that Dobson would come anywhere near been an integral cog of a World Cup or Tri Nations winning team, let alone a grand final winner..there seems to be some kind of myth surrounding how good Dobson is because of Rovers abject performances whilst he is injured.., 90% of his contribution to Rovers is his kicking game which is excellent but the rest of his game would not get him within 2 miles of top level international team.., a big reason we miss him is because of the ordinary stand off JM signed to supposedly take the pressure away who is living up to his ordinariness quite well , Rovers fans and the coach have given Dobson a lot to live up to on his return , not sure he is up to the big expectations surrounding him..

He was in the SL dream team for the past 2 years. I take their views over yours everyday of the week. Still if that little rant made you feel better good on you. And the use of the word 'WE' do you honestly expect anyone to actually belive that

TBF i thought Larry Billey made some valid points.

Whether he did or not I can't understand why he bothers to post his views. He won't debate, he just does cowardly little hit and run attacks.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

He's entitled to his opinion like everyone else. I don't agree with all his views, but by and large he makes some very valid points.

You are perfectly entitled to take the views of journalists over myself or top level coaches anytime you like, remember the same journalists have also picked people like Kevin Penny, Jason Demetriou, Ade Gardner and Scott Moore...doesn`t make them top level players....
Sorry but just because i am not completely one -eyed does that make me not a worthy supporter...???

The only other reason I could think is that McClennan wants Sammut off the bench due to his ability to play -, 6, 7 and 9.
Terry Matterson has publicly stated that Dobson was not picked solely on ability, nothing to do with his registration, Mclennan picked Leuluai and Sammut because he rates them more highly link (Leuluai is 11 months older than Dobson...), in coach speak Leuluai is a far superior player..no shame in that...
EDIT- Dont quote it just link the site please-RW
