Not in FC's case, you seem to be happy with your profits, because after 13 years of S/L it can't be for winning trophies..(challenge cup is not a S/L trophy by the way)

Interesting you choose to exclude the most successful SL club of the last 5 years who rake in the profits. But apart from that, great point, well made.
So, what's your excuse for not winning a major...sorry, any S/L trophy in 13 years..

Oh, and while i'm at it, the bicker thread locked because it strayed from rugby (i've seen bigger strayes), i thought that was what it was for.....i must of mis-understood
Please note the following:
1. The AUP DOES still apply here. 2. Outside of bicker thread, you do not talk about bicker thread. It is to be a quarantine location not a source of contamination. 3. Good natured, humourous insults will be tolerated (if you can't stand the heat, don't bloomimg flame). Nastiness and the pursuit of RLfans vendettas will not. 4. Those insults. The recently popular 'mong', is banned because of its derivation - see also 'retard', 'spaz' and 'flid'. 'Windowlicker', 'gormclops' and 'delusional gobspite' are all fine. The rest we'll play by ear. 5. There will likely be an indefinate period of adjustment before people realise that this is the natural home for their bantering/trolling/flaming posts and threads and stuff will have to be merged into it until then. At times bicker thread will probably make no sense whatsoever - but because it is designed for squabbling nonsense that shouldn't matter.

Inexplicable. Start a thread specifically for cross-city bickering and derailment, which worked very well IMO, then lock it when dum-dum posts 2 pictures of a Hull KR player, one actually playing the game, one doing some charity work. We really need a banner to get Mild Rover's ground-breaking innovation (expecting nothing less from a scientist tbh) reinstated. I need 3 friends to hold the corners, and I'm counting you in. pmh will be along in in a bit with his box of craft materials to help make it.

Just gives me more legitamacy to post utter nonsense across more threads.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I enjoyed that thread, and feel that it was Mild Rover's to lock as the experiment sponsor and the only rational person on here. He must feel like one of those scientists whose vision is not understood and therefore condemned before all the evidence is available. Like Clive Sinclair and the C5. I think we failed the "beta" test (not sure whether or not that was just chav text spelling of "better") and our conclusion is less talk and fewer pictures of Peter Fox is the way forward.
