I aren't condoning the throwing, not in the slightest, it is not needed, but he did his best to wind the fans up.
You are right Scott, Tomkins was goading the Rovers fans most of the game, he even squirted his water bottle towards the crowd at one point. I find it such a shame that such a fantastic player, probably one of the best in the British game at the moment, is so arrogant. Unfortunately we have idiots who rise to this kind of thing. I heard about his 'f***king scumbags' comment too although I didn't see him say it.

Too arrogant is the word you're looking for. Hope he gets whats coming to him in the four nations.

Well by your rationale we are a successful club too then: next to bottom with 17 points, third from bottom with 20 points, sixth with 30 points.

Indeed, what a shame your fans didn't show their appreciation of that at your end of season parade then eh? You've had a decent season, finished some six places higher in the table and beat us 3 times out of 4, yet still you walk away and show no appreciation of your team, bet they felt great wandering round an empty stadium.

I didn't "walk away", although plenty did. We all have fans like that including your club as well you know.
Perhaps it should be pointed out that Hull's average home crowd grew by over 500 this season whilst Rovers' average fell (again) by around 300. Bet that made your team feel "great" too.

Newton didn't do it for 70 mins of the game though, didn't call you lot f***ing scumbags, didn't squirt water at the front row, didn't point to his name (which in my opinion, was disrespectful to his teammates) in a direct attempt to wind the fans up... need I go on?

Why would that need pointing out? I'm sure the lads don't come out and count the fans, mind you it was possible to actually do that during your parade.
