I think he'll do a good job for you. He'd have played a lot more games for us if not for injuries, and the fact that second row is probably our best "strength in depth" position. Main flaw is his lack of mobility in defence.

Quite the opposite actually, he's well known for not passing at Wigan, our attack usually dies when it reaches him, he's been a good defender for us before this year but for me he is way past it now and quite injury prone. I think it would be a backwards step for you guys if you signed him. The only positive thing i can say about him is that he has been a massive help for alot of the younger players and is a good club man. He's had a good career and even played Centre for Australia but he is no better than any young 2nd rowers in SL now.

Bailey will not make the difference between winning something and not, neither would Green..but both players salaries combined on a genuine top class player might and would bring all the other benefits with it..
If this happens it has Baileys good buddy Newton all over it...does nothing to further the long term development of the club though...how many 30 year old Aussies do we need..???
Our recruitment policy seems to be befuddled to say the least...
Has Newton rodgered your wife Bazza, because you appear to think absolutely everything is his fault?
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
As Josh Perry will no doubt tell everybody next year, Newton hasn`t got a good "rodger" in him..
Aside from that , i am not saying it is Newtons "fault" but the fact remains he, and some other players, have too much influence for me..As Newton failed to deliver on his promise of persuading Finch to join Rovers i assume he has told Morgan he can get his buddy Phil Bailey here..., with Morgan admitting his interest in Blake Green stems from him playing at schoolboy level with Dobson . will we ever see the day when Morgan makes a signing that either isnt with his one favoured agent in Aus or a mate of someone already at the club..?????
Not the way to drive recruitment if Rovers ever want to dine at the top table...

I must have slept through that bit.
Clint has also welched on his deal to rid me of my greenfly problem, and is also responsible for the roadworks on Saltshouse over the weekend. He's one bad egg that bloke!
