Murrell has a chronic lack of pace and this is what prevents him from being a really top player (IMO).
It's not that he simply lacks pace - plenty of players do. Murrell is much slower than that. You can forget all about quick scoots from the ruck, which is such a feature for many hookers.
It's best to put him where this weakness is least exposed and for me that is loose forward. He has improved a lot since he went there and I don't think we need to move him.
agreed, i also think hes too slow for this position, but then Hodgson isnt exactly a speedy little hooker either im led to believe. IMO we need to bring a top hooker in.
