Look at Catalans. They played Saints in a CC final at Wembley in their second year in SL and finished 3rd in their 3rd season. This year they just sneaked in the play-offs. You speak as if Rovers current dominance of FC is for all eternity. Maybe the Parasol Park era will last 1,000 years, who knows, or you might do a Catalans next season. Given the slagging off we got for losing to Saints in a major final, you're on dodgy ground being critical before the SL trophy is in the cabinet.
We have our pride, we have daft Gateshull fans like you biting, clutching at straws, we have you rattled, deep down you are very very bitter, first season in SL we secure it with a 6-42 drubbing of your team, second season we finish above you, third season we finish above you again and make the play-offs , regardless of how far we go, we have you lot who mocked us for years rattled, it's a nice feeling , you was once a knowledgable sensible poster, but now even you are biting and showing your obvious envy and frustration

Good for you, if losing by 8 tries to 1 makes you feel nice. You've won nothing yet and on the criteria set by the collective wisdom on here last year, unless you win the trophy you are "LOSERS". No prizes for 4th, son, nor for being losing finalists. You're still on course for the trophy, though, aren't you, none of the teams on show tonight are showing much class, so not sure what the need is for your seething, ill-punctuated rant.

As a matter of interest Mrs B, dig out the statistics concerning how many seasons you were making up the numbers in S.L. (which by most pundits views was nowhere near as competitve) before you made a play off and how many years later before you actually won a game in the series.

It was a few. We got promotion in 97 and made the play-offs in 2001,2002, 2004-7. The first game we won was in 2005. Obviously the salary cap now as opposed to 11 years ago makes for a much more even competition.
I'm not criticising your progress, which I've already said is remarkable. But you can't call FC "LOSERS" last season for coming second in a major final then claim "success" for yourselves without winning a trophy.

Wouldn't say i was rattled. Dissapointed yes and rightly so i believe we had a better squad overall this season (Sure you will disagree but that is my belief) however Morgan has worked minor miracles at times to get your lot playing as well as they have at times.
It took us a long time to win a play off game and it may well still take you a long time to win one.
