You underestimate our other props though I feel. Mulhern is quality and getting better and better. Mose Masoe can be a bit frustrating at times but he was good in 2018 and at his best quite unplayable. Jewitt is one tough hombre and Scruton a real good professional and tough as teak.

Johnson isn't too bad as a 6th prop and we can always ask the excellent James Greenwood to go back to his former position if required. We are really well covered in the middles now. Hull FC would without a doubt have been competing for Garbutt if they had not tied their hands with cap and quota.

I reckon that things have gone full circle............Rovers now have a better pack than Hull but you guys still have better and bigger outside backs. Half back well we still have a signing to come and Albert Kelly ...you've had a good run out of him as we did but anything else is a bonus. Connor is so much more likeable in an England shirt but I must now admit star quality.

Can't wait for the big kick off we'll be looking to dominate you down the middle and I think we will do.

I like mulhern but he's not as good as garbutt when he's fit. masoe is a pudding 5 games out of 6 and you were all calling for scruton to retire last year. The rest are just back up the same as we have.

I think rovers have the edge in the front row but Hull's back row is definitely better.

I'm glad you've admitted your jake love though  He's my favourite player now that watts is no longer with us

Obviously the Knights’ selectors have a different opinion.

Your FC credentials are shining brightly when you refer to Masoe.

Your aging second row came in for much criticism from fans last season so I’m pleased you can remain so optimistic. They are possibly both going on a season too long although maybe they did that in 2018.

Mulhern is the real quality in our pack and has the ability and engine to play big minutes, Masoe was far from a pudding in 5 out of 6 games and was the difference in a lot of games last year.
Scruton, the jury is out whether he was injured a lot of last year and can get back fit or he is going a year too far, if he can get fit again then he is a very good solid prop. Happy with our pack as it stands, just need to keep them all fit.

manu is only 31 so is hardly ageing but suffered from injuries last year. Minichello was probably our best back rower last year and is in great shape but needs to play less minutes to get the best out of him. Hadley is decent back up

I don't expect us to trouble the top 5 next year but still expect us to finish above rovers

masoe has been pretty anonymous whenever I've watched him play for rovers

Being your best back rower is not necessarily a big compliment as he is being compared with average SL players. Looking at our back row I cannot see anyone that I would swap for Minichello at this stage of his career. I would take Tomkins and Greenwood at this point in time but then we are all entitled to our own opinion.

You obviously saw little of Masoe.

We all have our expectations that is what this time of year is all about.

Happy with Garbutt, if we can keep him fit he's a great signing and makes a very good starting front row with Mulhern.
Masoe i want to see more from him, for every big drive theres a quiet spell IMO. on his day though he can be really hard to handle
Im happy with the pack as it is but think we need a young hooker from somewhere as lunt seems to be stuck in an injury cycle unfortunatly.

I think your pack is looking very strong. I would even suggest Mulhern doing some big minutes at 13 with the try threat from Tomkins and Greenwood in the back row, backed up by your backline looking forward to how you will go this year
