If he was here with Burnsie and a HDM rep on the same show they would have been falling over each other trying to claim the "You heard it here first" card as it was a throw away comment by one guest and laughed off by all present I would put pennies on the fact he is still sat in the sun. As stated elswhere he is such a high profile player in Australia the chances of him packing his bags and sneaking on a plane to the UK, then getting through the airport at Heathrow or Manchester without being recognised are pretty slim. I would expect every RL journo on both sides of the planet are poised with the "Exclusive Willie on the plane to Super League" headline on their laptops and as such the minute the club get the nod over his visa they will make an imediate announcement as they activate his plane ticket sat at the travel company gathering dust.

why would Mason want to come to a civil partnership ceremony, bit bad for his Hard man image

A little birdie told me she works in the visa department and she is witholding Willies visa as she will have f'ck all to post about once he's here

doubt it, she always has something to post about, usually some drivel about 'timely boosts' or something but she'll be posting
