Not jealous at all. Mason will be a good signing and is a high profile player. My only issue was you calling him the most high profile player in world rugby. That clearly isn't true. Before he signed for Rovers were there many things being written about him - no there wasn't. He was doing ok for the Cowboys but not getting close to rep footy and not really on the radar.

He seems to be a big deal over here for the time being and had you said the most high profile player in SL I might have agreed.

There has never been a reaction to a player coming over in the SL era like what there has been to Mason's arrival.
Beckham doesnt play for England or in the Premiership anymore and is still a higher profile then every player bar Rooney in England any probably 3rd to Messi and Ronaldo in worldwide interest.
Its an opinion that most Rovers fans share and most FC fans disagree with and at the end of the day its difficult to prove or disprove either way.

yep...I had a mate text me from London the other day asking who this Mason geezer was...apparently he had 5 pages of coverage in the Evening Standard, an 8 page colour supplement in METRO and the whole back page of the FT
