to be perfectly honest cock'eads comment wasn't particularly necessary either
If you just fight terrorism, it's based in fear. If you promote peace, it's based in hope

Much has changed in RL in the past 15 years; mostly to the detriment of the game in my view. And to RL's sense of self and family.
Yet that pales into insignificance when you see the dreadful injury suffered by one of our own, Chev Walker, last night. This is a time when, no matter your club (I am a Widnes supporter), we come together.
Best wishes to Chev Walker. May you have the speediest of recoveries, fella.
Norton.

Is that the rest of the thread where decent Hull FC fans express their disgust at your post?

At first I thought Chev had been knocked out as I couldn't see him move at all from the West stand. When news came back of what had happened I couldn't believe how brave he was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope Chev makes a speedy recovery and that we see him in a Rovers' shirt again as soon as possible!!!! Best wishes going out to you Chev!!!!!

I admire Chevs courage the pain must have been unbearable, can you imagine a footballers reaction to that kind of injury.
Big plaudits for Keef too, for staying with Chev and telling the bench Chev was in trouble.
Hope we see the big fella in a Rovers shirt again.
