I agree neither team is good enough currently to challenge the top teams, best most of us can hope for is a good cup run and a good crack at the play offs, a bit of luck and you never know.
What I don't accept is fc's half back excuse, most fans knew when signing long that he would miss a fair bit of the season and it's proved right. Horne gas been injury prone for 3 years now and again it was predictable. Fitzgibbon was also never going to play 20+ games at his age. So as an excuse it doesn't wash, it was a massive gamble and one that will be run again next year.

You must be one of these 'numpties' for making a thread such as this.
Attitudes like one you have shown in this thread would be the ingredients to peg Rovers back from winning silverware.
Stop being obsessed with an average side such as Hull, we want to progress much further than them.

gotta love it really. i was wondering when the injuries excuse was gonna come out. did you see us moaning when we had so many out after losing last week ? no we didnt. we had no fit first team centres(welham, webstaer, walker) only one fit winger(colbon still out) and then we lost vella in the warm up. thats 5 first team regulars out . BUT WAS WE MOANING ABOUT IT ? NO ... you was beaten by a team that was on fire tonight, and even had you had your players back that you mentioned ,would of not had a chance. wigan was awesome tonight so give them the respect they desreve.
whelam webster and walker are hardly long ogre or fitz, them 3 wouldnt even get into our reservers

Wrong we all knew about longys injury's the club signed him not the fans. and whilst he has been on the field hull have been a far better side, shame he cant be fit all season. as for fitz it was more of a worry with omeley with his injurys to be correct. who is one of the form props this year and fitz has played very well this year. As for half back excuse not so long ago all you dobbins were calling for dobbson to be hung as ianson as for murrel to. without good half backs your team will struggle its no excuse its a fact

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

I wasn't saying it affects the team, it obviously does. My point was before a ball was kicked this year it was enevitable and most knew it. Bad luck with injuries ceases to be bad luck when it's totally predictable. Next year will be worse as another year is added to already old players.
