General Zod. wrote:IMO an "international winger" with a head start should not be getting caught by a second-rower in a sprint to the try line. FACT.

However the rest of his game was top class and I'm please because I'm an English man and I want England to do well.

So, does he have the athletic ability to play at international level, or not? Very confusing:

you say he should not be caught but how can you avoid it if another player is faster, his game is much more than speed-,stength,power,awareness,defence,need i go on

And his overall record in SL is 121 Tries in 226 Apps
A strike rate of 53.53%

Was the try table one you made up in your head :?:

 ..how far do you want to go back
Ermmmm...the 4 nations team was picked on last season
Kris scored 3 more tries than Kirk, though in fairness he played 2 more games so based on that I think it is safe to say offensively they are on par...the defensive stats are the bit that make it clear why Kirk was picked over Kris though..simple really

I look forward to your eagerly awaited response as to why Yeamo is not the best left centre in Hull still!

Probably the 2nd best winger in the city but I'd say 4th best centre

If Webster was out onto the wing and stayed there he'd be one of the best in the league not just in hull.

Hall and Welham at centre then and Hodgson and Webster on the wings. "Mouthwatering" I think is the adjective most commonly used on here to describe any/all potential Rovers permutations. "Very very exciting" is the other one. When in Rome, and all that.

He really isn't a winger these days, when he played there a couple of occasions last year he looked poor. He had his best season for us, mainly due to staying clear of injuries. He would have scored 25+ tries had he played left centre, as our attack is geared to that side, hence Welhams try tally. His defence is very good. He wears special shorts on derby days, with a big pocket to keep Yeaman in.

Ah,Mrs Borista is at it again.

Only confusing for a degenerate like yourself.

You're quoting (from 2 years ago I might add) specifically about Fox and "athletic ability". Well despite Fox's fall from grace and his crisis of confidence, I'd still back him every day of the week to show his "athletic ability" and not to get caught by Simon Mannering.

However, the overall balance of pros and cons & strengths and weaknesses meant that 2 years ago, Briscoe was not up to playing international rugby league where as today the overall balance balance of pros and cons & strengths and weaknesses mean that he is.

It kind of a similar rhetoric of why the 1970 ashes winning GB team aren't selected in this years squad, because they're not as good as they where because time has moved on - unlike yourself and your outlook on life.
