If Andrew Webster gets the job that will tell you we are skint and have no ambition, dont talk about wanting to challenge if thats the best we can do for a replacement coach.

Nothing against the bloke but if you promote the assistant who has been with us as we have gone backwards for at least 2 years would be a big mistake after all he must have some input as assistant surely!!!!

FWIW, I don't think he'll leave. If the interview had gone well and it looked like he'd be taking the job, you wouldn't have heard a thing. Think its another one of those "timely boost" stories, when he "turns down" Cas' offer.
Just been watching the rugby on Premier Sports, and in comentary, live, they suggested that 'Justin Morgan from HKR' has been talked to with regards the coaches job at Aukland Warriers.

Well if he's offered that job he'd mad not to take it. Couldn't blame him, he's made no secret of his desire to coach in the NRL and to be fair, any ambitious coach would want to work in the world's premier competition.
Brian Noble supposedly seen holding talks with Richard Wright in Leeds yesterday.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Be it Cas or elsewhere JM is good as gone.., the chairman wants him to leave, he wants to leave ,Rovers are already starting to plan without him..but Cas would obviously suit him down to the ground, no need to relocate , move schools, and a job with no real pressure or expectations with probably a three year deal and a brand spanking new stadium around the corner..
Rovers need it out of the way tbh and start to think about the next few years and are we going to be a contender or also-ran...
