From Hull isn't he?
Longhill?
Had a great game for Salford against us in 2007.
Rovers spoke to him last winter but couldnt agree a release with Huddersfield for the last year of his contract. He is out of contract this year and has already been told by Huddersfield that he isnt getting a new one so it wouldnt surprise me if we went for him.

Taylor is nineteen.
I know, let's play him every week in one of the most demanding positions in the game, burn him out and wave him off to The Championship half way through next season.

This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I'd take him dependant on who else is out there (definitely not a position to use a quota place on) not the greatest in defence and although he's lost a bit of pace he's still a quality finisher.

Fox has learned the same lesson Yeaman did, bulked up too much in the off season and lost pace and agility, he will be back to his best just as Yeaman is. That said I still think we should play him on the other side and why not bring in Hodgson, certainly a finisher!
We do need more go forward though then our halves will really click, bring back Mariano.

Hardly burning him out are we,the amount of 1st team action he's getting, lets wait till he get's fed up,sign's for another super league club and make's us regret it!

Read it again.
We should certainly make him a decent offer of an improved contract but if another team comes in for him with a better one and he wants to go then that's up to him. We're not in a position to be held to ransom by a nineteen year old with potential.
if he gets fed up that he isn't getting as much game time as Lovegrove, Galea, Murrell, Cook et al then he clearly hasn't got the attitude to succeed in a professional sport.

Maybe Taylor aint all that, lets be honest, how many quality games have we had out of him so far this season? He has done ok and nothing more.
I think that he has been very good in the games that he has featured in and has warranted more game time. If i were Scott i would probably be a bit upset to be honest given that the forwards selected infront of him have hardly ripped any trees up. Also, Liam Watts and Josh Hodgson were virtual everpresents last season at the same age that Scott is now.

He probably does deserve more game time, Lovegrove is no S/R and should be moved back up front straight away. I dont think he has played aswell as Galea and Cook who would be starting in the S/R for me at the moment, well untill Newton is back.
Liam Watts was excellent last year! god knows whats happened to him, I said ages ago he is now slightly reminding me of David Mills, he needs to up his game big time.
Less said about Hodgson at this time the better

The problem is all of Morgans making. Vella, Clinton, Lovegrove, Newton, Galea, Murrell and Netherton will always play when fit, irrespective of form. That leaves Taylor, Wheeldon, Watts and Cook to fight it out for two spots each week and the odd occasion maybe only one spot. At the moment Wheeldon and Cook are in the driving seat, but one bad game and they'll be out for the side for 6 weeks. Thats the Morgan way.
There is no doubt in my mind that Taylor is being dumped on in much the same way Hally is. But go back a few weeks and the same can be said of Cook and Wheeldon.
