I said immediately after the Derby that it seemed Hull put everything, and I mean everything into that derby.

One simple fact regarding this is Hull's choice to put Calderwood in after limited appearances this year (and we now know that he's been ruled out) whilst Rovers still turned to youngsters such as Latus and Charnley and 'resting' Vella and Welham.

I think we are looking at the bigger picture.

All saying that though, Hull do have a large injury list, but Wigan were always going to respond after last week.
