If you see a player in a two-man tackle and one of the two men suddenly turns around with the ball in his hands then a ball-steal is far more likely than a misdirected pass.
Quite right - as you say they have no option but to use their skill and judgement in assessing what the most likely play was when they and their touch judges are unsighted.

without sounding like a troll, this is a serious question, ive noticed a few times morgan has had words about the ref or decisions not going your way. Does anyome think he maybe feeling a little presure or are his feelings deserved?
I'm sorry, I seem to be the only Hull fan that hasn't seen the game! But from what I heard on radio wire scored 16 points while Newton was in the bin. Is that correct? Also the game was at 6-4 when this happened? If so it was a massive moment that changed the game. Was it a deserved binning? I know from on here that he'd been warned but was the "actual" event worth a sin bin?

He'd been warned twice before and then did another grapple tackle, so IMO it was deserved. There were some other abysmal decisions in the game that went against us (Hicks in touch, Grix offload as a ball steal, Anderson knock on before king Try), but the game was still out of our reach. Until we become more flamboyant and versatile in attack I only expect victories over the weaker teams. Saying that, our defence was amazing for 70 minutes and it is certainly a performance to build the rest of the season on despite conceding 35 points.
