Rovers don't owe him anything. He was on a very good wage for next to no return in 3 years. Some of his injuries were unfortunate, but seeing as he is retired now and really has no affiliation to the club, why should he be invited?

The award is for the season gone and based on performance, the future and their loyalty to the club is irrelevant.
Welham is probably our longest serving player and doesn't seem interested in leaving, perhaps he should win everything. |
