I'm led to believe HDMs days as a daily publication may soon be numbered. Going to press once a week is a possibility. Could be the future for a lot of papers. T'interweb has changed the landscape a bit.

I can see that happening, although - why would that stop the HDMs rumours?

I thought it was going to be that Mike "Ninja" Smith was going to take over The Hull Daily Mail by generating static electricity from his Bri-Nylon slacks and force them into only ever writing positive stories.
Then he'd be freed up to reply to my emails.
