If only we could adopt the two refs policy but sadly there isn't nearly enough decent refs around, which is the bigger problem.

It was more a polite notice to those who constantly spell his name wrong. It happens that much it's the norm. It actually vexes me now.

He was shocking during his first year in super league, probably because of a language barrier and France league having different interpretations of the Laws but the last two seasons Alibert has come on in leaps and bounds.

I agree, if there was a most improved referee over that period he'd get the nod. Although he was pretty shocking at first, so he's only improved to an acceptable level. He still gives some interesting 'interpretations' at times too. Don't think Sky commentary (or certain teams/players) give him much respect either.

Hopefully he can improve further and become the next Ashley Klein - who IMO was the best we had at the time.

On telly right now IMO.

Catalans have made about 4 or 5 Forward Passes wich have been missed and then he pulls them up for a ligitimate pass!.
