Depends who your asking I suppose, imo Welham is one player we havent missed. But it doesnt make a difference if Charnley is better then him or not; Wigan wont sell him so hes only here whilst we have afew injuries in our back line.

A few of us were speaking to him in the clubhouse after the game, he said he would love to stay here if it were possible but as yet there has been no official request from the club.
At the end of the day, its worth asking, would he have a better chance of first team rugby here as opposed to Wigan?, especialy when you consider the players they will be bringing in for next season and the little matter of the salary cap, just a thought!.

welham back in few weeks time it was loose cartlidge he had removed keyhole, nothing as drastic as first thought, would certainly like to keep Charnley there though...

The players Wigan are bringing in.
None of them are centres or wingers. One halfback, one prop and one second row.
Players leaving (all overseas) one utility, one hooker, one prop and one second row. No salary cap problems.
I think Charnley may extend his loan period, but he won't and doesn't want to leave Wigan.

Having watched the 20s this season, there are a few more capable of playing SL if Sam Latus can get a go on the wing IMO. No need to bring anyone else in to benefit other clubs. JM stated that keeping Charnley 'can only benefit Wigan'. Why should we want to bring players in to develop them for other clubs?
