did any one listen to the humberside interview when scotti said to pinkney think it was "yeah would just like to also say what a terrible kicking game dobbo had" of course dobbo was just walking past him lol..

Murrell is a good stop gap and fill in relacement when needed but if we are to improve season upon season we need to get a top class stand off as a priority.

We had one of those and he didn't suit the way Rovers play as a team. Murrell does.

I know what you're saying and of course would also like a top class stand off at the club. I just think that there's little point in paying mega bucks for a player and then restricting their play to the point of ineffectuality.

Plus, I'm very happy with Watts at loose man.

I'd like to think that Justin has liaised with Dobson on any potential signing of a half back partner with regards to compatabity. I'm also very happy with Watts's performance; but he'd do just as good job doing what he does at Prop.
Plus, I'm very happy with Watts at loose man.

I think that is a good point. If we continue with a 3 prop pack, I'd be happy with Murrell and Dobson as the halves, but you'd still need some cover and also one of Murrell's assets is his versatility. Tough one really. I lean towards getting another, good, half in - one who can cover 6 and 7 (eg/ie Finch). I think that is better for the squad over the season, if not necessarily the strongest paper 17.
Either way, it feels like there are options now, which it didn't a couple of months ago.

Is it some sort of Dick Turpin character lost in the fog?

Wish I could change me picture thing, too rubish to do it though. I'd have a nice picture of a can of Tip Top or something like that. Maybe a picture of a fence.

A secondary character from an obscure space opera novel, I read as a kid. He is a little bit like Dick Turpin. If Turpin had been possessed by a demon, exorcised by aliens and employed as a double agent to promote/prevent a scheme to enslave humanity's shared conscience.
