Totally agree, he's a big lad and certainly looks the part, we have to take this as an opportunity to blood these kids, it's certainly not done us any harm with Hodgson, Welham and Watts. Leeds, Saints and Wigan are constantly turning out and bringing on young players and usually a really good one, or two, are discovered having had game time and gained confidence to show what they can do. As has been said Latus certainly hasn't let anyone down, and he wasn't one I was expecting to be used this year but certainly Mariano and Taylor are.
Pity about Ratu though as he was starting to prove his worth a bit.
Good call on Cook at centre too. I only mentioned on Sunday that I would loved to have seen him break clear as looked fairly quick and light on his feet for a forward and would do a job if needed against Leeds backs. there again I may be proved totally wrong on that one?
