If there is a way to screw us over, Thaler WILL find one.
Is there any coincidence he's been appointed in a game of this importance aswell?
Wakefield win, that 8th spot is up for grabs again, making it an exciting finish seeing as how the rest of the 8 look set up.
I don't like to be entirely cynical but it's hard not to be in this situation.

I doubt Cummings has thought along those lines, for me it's just Thaler, he has shown when refereeing us that he has an inability to get things right, even the blatantly obvious ones (if Stevo and Hemmings are calling foul against us, you know its a cock up). I don't think he arrives at a game thinking he is going to do us over, he just has some in built problem with our club, I am sure as his decisions border on the ludicrous at time when he is reffing us.
Two season ago in the game against Hudds at our place he allowed so much offside in critical areas for them it was spoiling the game, he hten penalised us for offside when the player in question was out on the flanks and NOT in anyway interfering with play, this was the pattern of the game and I still say after watching the DVD he was biased in that game.
'when my life is over, the thing which will have given me greatest pride is that I was first to plunge into the sea, swimming freely underwater without any connection to the terrestrial world'
If we continue to play the way we have in the last few games the referee will have no bearing on the result.
I do think though that Kear will have a far better strategy the Hudds did last week, plus I'm sure the youngsters will be really targetted in this game.

i`ll give you a clue, it begins with "w" and ends with "d" and has "akefiel" in the middle.
Ben Thaler born and bred in Normanton and currently resides there. Normanton like Castleford and one or two more towns are identified with Wakefield because of the WMDC, the only link to Wakefield he has is through the Wakefield and District referees' society hth. Its good to see you getting your excuses in nice and early it makes you look like you know what your talking about, makes you look a tad silly though when you get it wrong

Quite ridiculous to even consider the possibility of him having an affinity with Wakefield. For God's sake Normanton is nearly 6 kilometers from the centre of Wakefield! So although he may demonstrate all the characteristics of a 'homer' on the pitch. It's clear he isn't one.

He is from Wakey. Normanton is 6 miles away. I think he's having you on.
He is either a Wakey or Cas fan, there are conflicting reports about it.
