For those heading out of east Hull can highly recommend The White Horse at Ottringham. Downstairs is still a pub and the upstairs is an Indian restaraunt. Good food and not over the top price wise.

Very average in my opinion, decor and general ambience leaves a lot to be desired,it feels like your eating it in someones bedroom. Food was ok but i thought it was very pricey.

You see??...proves I don`t mind mixing with ruffians.

For a curry in the East of the City, Eurasian is far superior to all other asain cuisine establishments.

Went to Raj Pavilion last night(not my first visit), just fancied a late supper lol

I opted for the mixed korai with chips and a garlic nan, I got a huge helping and it tasted fantastic.

Yes its a bit pricey but the food was excellent and my pint of Cobra wasnt bad either.

Going to try of a few of the others mentioned on here, mainly Bengal Pride and Voujon(sp) as I have tried most on East Hull.

If you're ever in Scarborough try the Spice Lobster, stuck somewhere between the town centre and the cricket ground. It's rather good.

Heard nothing but good about Bengal Pride, will try it sometime.

So much terrible wrongness within this thread, you all live in the correct area of the county for (apart from Mild Rover who lives in the wrong area of the country for everything) The Greatest Game, but, absolutely the worst area of the county for a ruby murray.

If you can do the 10 hour flight try Goa just spent two weeks there & have never eaten so much wonderfull food in my life & curry in the UK just wont be good enough now.
