Like someone posted earlier, I think he along with Walker will be gone by next season. Both be on big amounts too. Ive got a horrible feeling that if Hall doesnt get a lot of game time, then he will be be Websters replacement in the centres.

I think it'll come down to the ever shrinking overseas quota really and unfortunately I think Jake will be a casualty of this, hope your right about Hall though as I reckon he' s going to be a real talent in 2 or 3 years.

Webster has never looked completely fit since being here, he looks a bit too heavy and seems to pull up after every run. In a way similar to how chev has been, both seem to get to the verge of being fit and then get another niggle. As has been said they will both be in our top earner bracket and having players this injury prone in that pay bracket is a risk not worth taking in 2011.

I would have to agree. Webster has produced the occasional good moment but for a top earner I think he has been injured far too much and not consistent enough. I would be surprised if Rovers offered him a new deal unless he produces in a big way this season.

As for Walker, I would always be dubious about signing a player that went for league to union and then come back again, for me they are never as good second time around and in Chev's case injuries have realy affected him.

I dont agree with yourself and barham red, Webster has just had a very good season and I believe made 20+ appearances last year and was consistently very good throughout.
People have mentioned about the times he goes down and looks injured, apart from I think once this season he has actually had to leave the field. Me and my friends find it funny when everyone is screaming 'Websters injured again' around us, for him to get up and smash someone in the next tackle lol.
As you can see, I rate the guy and I would be happy to see him sign an extended contract. I think alot could also depend on Ratu and Welham's continuous development and maybe not as much on if he has an outstanding season.
