Really is an absolute joke when you think about it - laying out around £250 for both combined, but getting nothing through the post for months! Imagine the interest they must have made off thousands of sales of each without actually posting anything out or doing anything really.

Thing is though, pet, you were never actually going to get the majority of the benefits for 7-12 months anyway, as you shelled out in July for a season starting in Feb and a derby in the summer. They'll surely have the Club Rovers cards available for the shirt launch though so you can get your discount, otherwise that would be a bit of a shambles.

With receipts issued for Club Rovers and the magic of computers i wouldn't think anyone will be missing out but thanks for your concern, pet.

Since there is a risk that the proper documentation is not ready for the biggest merchandise opportunity of the year, let's hope it runs smoothly. Imagine the confusion if the cards are ready near the date of the shirt launch, some people have collected them, some haven't, a mixture of computerised and manual systems to track who has and hasn't claimed, some people being unable to claim, others claiming twice. Bit like the old "you will receive a £5 voucher in September" extravaganza. Still, you know what Hudgell means when he says the fans don't really understand Club Rovers yet.
