Tbf to Gene he is coming back from a longish injury lay-off and played with an injection against Leeds.

Although, given his great service to the club i'll make an exception, I think the dual contracts should be much more about helping young players make the step up rather than old ones wind down.

When big Frank Watne played for us wasn't he involved in coaching at Halifax? So he could coach at Rovers and play elsewhere.
