Not being overdramatic, but we shipped 40 at Cas and they had 5 tries disallowed and were outplayed for 70 minutes at home vs an extremely average Celtic side.
Who exactly is going to engineer an FC victory? Our tactically astute and highly motivational coach? Our scrum half (either Thorman, possibly the worst player in the irregular hoops since the nineties and unceremoniously dragged off the pitch at Cas, yet to return, or a hooker)? Our ball-busting front row (oh, that's right, Dowes, Cusack, Lauaki, possibly Thackray, all injured - and not really fearsome anyway)? We are playing the worst rugby I can remember for years. The only thing you can say is at least we are consistent, having beaten only Salford, Celtic and Cas since our 5 from 5 start, and not playing well even in those wins.
I'm not worried in the slightest, I'd go so far as to say that some FC players may be fearing the game playing a Rovers team coming back to some kind of form, a volatile East Stand on their backs for the whole game and the Sky cameras to boot.
If Rovers come up with any kind of performance, then I expect nothing less than 40 odd points, maybe even 50 if FC implode...

Well, I really hope you're right Mrs B, but I've been watching this game of ours for too long to get complacent, and I hope my team have more sense than to treat this one as points in the bag.

A word of caution, the form book goes out of the window, FC aren't a bad team, they're just a team playing very badly. If they click and we don't give it 100% they could beat us very easily.
Look at Bradford v Leeds, the bulls are one of the worst teams I've seen this year and they turned over Leeds (and saints) convincingly.
I aggree 100%, i have seen this kind of situation all to often over the years, where one of the two teams are having a great season while the other is having an awful time.
Quite often in the past, when you were the in form team, you would turn up believing that a win was a foregone conclusion and so did some of the players, then WHAM, everything would go t.....ts up and you ended up beaten and wondering what went wrong.
The form book points to a Rovers win but, the form book goes out of the window in derbies.
i sincerely hope rovers treat Hull like they were playing Leeds or St Helens and go in to the game with that same kind of winning mentality, i believe they will.
However, i shall still refrain from putting any money on it.

What I would like is for Hull to give 100%.If they do that and Rovers win, then fair do`s. But playing like they did against Cas is not on,if we lose that way,we deserve everything we get.

hull will be up for this one and they'll be a totally different team from the one of the last few weeks. They're a wounded animal and if we think we only have to turn up to win (like most of our fans seem to) we'll get turned over.
