But would Rooney and Dobbo be a good partnership with brough at hooker to solve the problems - i have my doubts.
I can't understand this, why would we take Rooney who can't get in the Wakey side, and was farmed out to Barrow. We're supposed to be improving, not going backwards.

just rumours though- i didnt say i believed the rooney one myself - because i dont.
However the brough for cooke straight swap looks likely in my book.
brough obviously wants to, cooke has only just started to show abit of form and hasnt been as good as we hoped in all honesty.
The fact that Brough is wakeys best player by some way at the moment is making me feel better though.

Cooke can go for me, he's been okay but hasn't really cut the mustard and we clearly need a running half back.
Brough and Rooney can also stay where they are. Rooney's gash and Brough looks a pointless signing, we've got a better organising scrum half with a kicking game and far better attitude already and if we're going to get cover at hooker, here's a novel idea...Why not recruit a hooker?
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

the reason behide that is morgans game plan, dobson cant do everything morgan wants him to do, cookes wasted and needs to see the ball more. a running halfback wont solve the problem as he wont see the ball either !!! dobsons form has dipped and the rest of the team have suffered and i dont think hes a good organiser either, morgan made a mistake letting kirk netherton going with out having another hooker, as all teams run with 2 hookers these days, not getting any body to fill in , down to the coach again

Great deal that. Dobson and Brough the halves and a very good back up for 6 and 7 coming in. Id welcome it.
