I would like to Liam WATTS recalled from his loan spell and given a chance. He is one of the few forwards we have who can turn in the tackle and offload the ball something we are despratley lacking. I would pick him ahead of MILLS any day. When he played last season he always made yard and runs his weight very well. he maybe one for the future but I believe its worth giving a chance. He can learn a lot of Vella and FOZZ if he gets his chance.

Liam is getting told to not off load as much as he does and die with the ball and play the ball asap as r all of our forwards especially fozz r getting told, as soon as fozz is touched he drops to his knees to play the ball

If that is correct I think the coaching of the forwards needs looking at. Eorl Crabtree is one of the best at off loading in the tackle and look at the damage he did against us by offloading in the tackle you already have two or three tacklers dragged in and if you move the ball quick the gaps willappear.

Couldnt agree more. Its one of the best parts of liams game and hes having it coached out of him in favour of a quick play the ball, total nonsence on the part of the coaches.

Having seen Liam quite a bit in the reserves this season his offloading has been the poorest part of his game. He needs to be more selective and concentrate more on his go forward. Winning the collision and finding the floor is better for the team than constantly looking for an offload, particularly when the structure of the team is not suited to an offloading style of play.

Liams time will come and getting away from the very poor reserve grade comp will deffo help him progress.

im sorry but the structure of any team should be able to deal with an off loading forward, whats the point of a quick play the ball when apart from fish we have nobody who can play a quick ball, i do agree that Liam does try too often to offload but it shouldnt be coached out of him in favour of the QPTB !!
