He isn't (yet), but including him in a squad and mixing with players who are could be just as rewarding and fruitful for him.

Kris is making good progress and it would be great to see him picked, not just because he's a Rovers player but it would show that Tony Smith can actually think for himself with selections, unlike his woeful World Cup squad.
I think it's about time we left a lot of the current England squad behind and showed some faith in youngsters. Australia are never concerned whether a player is "ready" or not. If they're playing pro and playing well, then they're ready if you ask me.

It won't do the lad any harm joining up, but you only have to look at the couple of naive moves he made on Sunday, when he chose to come inside rather than give it to Fox who was in acres of space and probably would have scored. 80% of the time he is very good, its the other 20% which will catch him out at a higher level, maybe in a year or so.
