Seen to many derbies go against the form book and the no hopers take the spoils so no predictions from me. To those who pretend the derby is another game are kidding themselves, whoever loses their fans will be gutted like in no other game in the season.

Our plusses are we have come into some decent form at the right time and seem to have regained some confidence and scoring and creating chances. Defence has been awesome ( a complete contrast to just a few weeks ago) and if matches are won by defence we are half way there. And probably having one of the best utility backs in super league to cover.

On the negative side we have been badly hit by injuries, especially in the three quarters where our first four choice are all currently injured. Having played probably the most physical team in super league just days before yet another physical battle isn't the ideal preperation either.

Lets hope we can up our game against the best pack in super league including the awesome tongan mafia, the aussie and soo supertstars and the intimidating KC atmosphere

It all come down to the performance, if you put in another 80 minutes like we did on Friday then Hull won't be able to live with that intensity.

It will be very difficult against a side that hasn't lost at fortress KC for a fair few games and they obviously had their cup final on the mind last night

It won't be easy; they're going to be well up for it. If we rest on our laurel's after the Leeds game; they will turn us over.

Yup, form goes out of the window in derby games.

That said i think Rovers will win on Thursday just as i thought they would against Leeds last week.

On topic, if I thought we'd be getting closer to getting rid of Agar, I'd take a 72-0 thrashing at home. I get the point on formbooks and derbies, but realistically we're without Long, O'Meley and Fitzgibbon who sounds like he's done his achilles, who (Manu apart) are our three most important players. Plus you've got the momentum and an extra day's recovery (not that that should be a big factor). I'd be amazed if FC pull of a win on Thursday. Amazed.
