I originally thought it was a year too early for him to be selected in the England squad but having seen yesterday's performance by Lee Smith and co. and the current shortage of centres, I think he could contribute something to the team in terms of attack and defence.

If he continues his progression next year I think he'll get a crack next year because he's got all the natural attributes and the will to win to succeed in the future at international level IMO.

He's developed well but he isn't international standard but then again Tom Briscoe got a game so anything is possible

Definate contender for the regularly mis-spelt XIII. Alongside Tompkins and McQuire.

See how he goes next year. If he can add a bit of bulk, without losing too much pace, could be in with a shot - similar is true of a few others though.

Welham gets sidestepped easily, knocks on too regularly and isn't that good at tackling, will he even have a future at rovers? Ratu looks a better prospect.

Atkins and Shenton I think should be in there but to be honest I stand by putting Ellis and Gilmour out there would sure up our defence and add strength to our attack even if that means losing flair. We just dont have those types of centres now.

As for Ratu replacing Welham I think its more a case of Webster coming to the end of his contract sooner rather than later and we needed to bring in someone that can just slot straight in.

We have a knack of throwing players in too early (Westerman, Tomkins, Myler and now young Briscoe) and nine times out of ten, they aren't developed enough and end up flopping ala Westerman. So please don't let this happen to Krissy
