We all know that franchises are coming. No way will the game's governing body allow london or UTC to be relegated so it's inevitable. It's also a given that there will be only 1 franchise available for Hull, with the likely recipient being the top 3 Superleague team, in the shiny new stadium, who are capable of bringing in 20,000+ for big games.
So, when it happens will that be the day you cease your love affair with the game or will you still go week in, week out, despite the fact you can never progress to the next level?

You never know? Your local council might decide that it's only fair that Rovers get a chance to play in what is a stadium that belongs to the taxpayers of Hull, and Rovers might even get subsidised to the extent that your team has been.
As for 20,000 + crowds i think your biggest was just over 19,000 and 10,000 of them travelled from Bradford.

they were offered before the stadium was completed if they wanted to play at the kc but refused 8O
Hull KR have had more subsidies & hand outs than any other "professional" sports club in the city:
Cut price land deal for new ground.
Interest free loan from Wastewise (Council owned)
Ability to sell off land despite covenants
Thousands written off in unpaid business rates
Hull on the other hand pay their way in a new stadium which provides an income stream for the city.
As the KC Stadium is Council owned, I can't see why Rovers can't play there, as long as they pay rent (it can always be written off if you don't). You might even fill the upper West tier!.

I don't think franchices will be allowed. They should have introduced them at the very start of SL but fudged the issue. Too late now.
Rovers have a golden opportunity to go up this season with the opposition not looking that much stronger than them, and I hope they do it. If they miss out this season, they wont get up next season with two relatively strong sides coming down. Wakefield / Salford / Leigh / London ?

If you believe that you'll believe anything
If you disbelieve it you're a mug!! Tell me what part of it isn't true.

You obviously never went to that game. If you did you'd hear the announcer say (as he does every game) how many away fans went through North Stand turnstile. If I remember correctly, it was just short of 3,400.
