I think the problem is the massive gaps right across the line,our 1on1 tackling isn't good enough to spread out like we are.

Over time we'll either improve at it, or we'll revert back to a compressed, sliding defence. I reckon when we get all the first teamers that are currently injured back into training we will see an improvement right across the squad.

So which first teamers will actually be missing for the derby?

Where are the huge gaping holes we used to see in every game last season? Instead of teams running through holes in our defense teams are running over and skipping round defenders. Sandercock has got his structures correct but he needs to get these players tackling or replace them with players that can.

Were still getting sucked in like we were last season, teams get through us AND outside of us far too easily, the top teams don't miss many tackles because they very rarely tackle 1 on 1.
